Agreed, but there is no denying that more are wounded by bow hunters than gun hunters. I hunt with bow and gun, and can honestly say I have never lost a deer I have shot at. I did track one for about 4 hours That I shot with a bow and the arrow ricocheted off his shoulder bone and ran across his chest, I severed the main arteries going to the front legs and he suffered and lived a long time compared to a clean kill shot. My 762x.54 would have blown that shoulder bone out and took the lungs with it.

The biggest buck I ever shot had a broadhead and 13 inches of arrow shaft connected to it in its body cavity when I gutted it, it almost cut me. I bet that guy was bummed he lost this buck.
