Buy a tippman. Anything below that it's not worth it.

I looked up a good cheap gun and people on yahoo answers said to stay away from tippmans. Spyders and some other brand had highest ratings. But I doubt I need an amazing gun I probably won't overuse them.

Why stay away from tippmans?
They are lightweight, reliable and accurate
With a new barrel they are extremely accurate
They hardly break and they don't have a lot of parts to repair/maintain
They are work horses which is why a lot of fields use them as their rentals

Get a tippman
If you decide to get into it more you can also get a flatline barrel for it and that makes it ridiculously accurate
I remember hitting soda cans with the flatline barrel from a good distance

Tippman with a flatline is a lot of fun.

Sounds like you're just looking to go out with a few people and shoot at each other and screw around. You don't need anything good for that. Just go on Craiglist or *** or w/e and see what is near you and cheap.

Either of these fine?

Or could I get some links please? Would like a set of stuff so it's cheaper.

See which ads fit your budget. Check the names of the guns in the ad. Google the guns' names for reviews, e.g. "Tippman 98 reviews"
