They are honestly not worth that money if you are looking for a budget bike check out low end DK bikes or I think united bikes has a few under 300$ but really if you want a decent bike you will be spending 500+

mtn/road bikes= multiple gears to go faster. You want to go fast? Get a bike with gears.


(edit) Find a legit local bike shop. Many sell used bikes. Nothing wrong with buying a bike a couple years old from a dealer. Many times legit bike shops allow repeat buyers to buy/sell their used bikes and you can find (used bikes) already slightly upgraded too.

I bought a used mtn bike years ago which had upgraded derailleurs.



Skip disc brakes. Skip suspension. Get a quality bike frame with a decent rear derailleur. Than you can slowly upgrade the bike down the road into something nice.

just drop 4500 and get a cbr 600rr

this, get a road bike if you want to go fast. but gl for $200. if you get up about 700-1000 you have a few good options.
