What is ranked on gold medals? In 2008 they showed this hilarious part about how in China they showed total medals and in the US gold medals.. it's all about what you want to believe. (because that way they both could claim the best result)

In my opinion total medals is more impressive though

IE if zambia has 1 gold and korea has no gold but 789 silver than zambia will still rank higher cuz gold>
