Both have their places. Woods ball is cheaper and a ton of fun, but speed ball is a fast paced rush (also tons of fun).

tippman a5's are good if they have the flatline barrel that puts a backspin on the ball.

it makes your gun WAY more accurate and you get much further distance, either 100 ft or 100 yards, not sure which, look it up.

i have a smart parts ion.

cheapest high end gun.

200 bucks new, i think you can find em for 150 used. (gun only)
get a halo or an egg hopper.


then add a tank(get a carbon fiber one, they are way lighter)

everything ~ 300 bucks (buy tank used)

mob on fools.

Flatlines arent that great. You gotta think, if the gun is tilted the spin is just going to take it off course since its the spin isnt perpendicular to gravity.

+1 for ions though. They are cheap, work pretty good, and have so much aftermarket support its crazy.
I bought a new bolt out back body, trigger, and hollow point bolt a while back for mine but I havent tuned everything up and played with it since.

But as others have said before me, look into getting an ION. They are pretty cheap at the moment and at the same time a remarkable gun.

Protto's are nice too, I prefer Protto :P

That's stretching it. Ions are decent starter guns but in no way remarkable.

And protos are a great starting gun. Grab a PMR and you're good to go.

Was implying it is a remarkable second gun. One might start at a 98 then go to something like this(an ION) then to something better etc..

Also an awesome back up gun, talking about back up guns, reminds me I need to get my slg fixed :(
