ofc, ofc.

Hm.  If this is your Plan B while hunting, I'm guessing you're going with some kind of long-gun (rifle or shotgun; not sure what you're hunting, or whether the critter in question co-habitates areas with bears.)

Like I said before, whatever you wind up going with, you're gonna want to practice drawing, and a lot.  Personally, I'd see if I could find an old mattress or something that I can drop my long-gun on, while I draw the revolver.

Drop long-gun, draw.  Reholster, pick up long-gun, rinse and repeat.  (I'm a fan of simulation training; I do something similar with my martial arts group with practice knives.  You could probably even practice with a blank that you cut out of a 2 x 4 or something.)

If you shoot with your long-gun on a sling, it changes things slightly, but I'd still encourage lots of practice drawing the revolver.  Muscle memory ftw.

Yes, rifle main and the revolver on the side. And as a drummer, I completely agree with the muscle memory.

All i know is Taurus hand guns fall apart easily a pawn shop owner told me
they are the most returned pistols because of parts falling off, but obviously revolvers are more durable.
Id definitly go with the ruger they make better quality weapons all around
and thats really what u want in a weapon

And he actually showed me 2 return taurus boxes from that week 1 the pistol handle had fallen off
the other i cant remember
