Sector Nine is good, however where I live they don't sell any other brand except for that in any of the stores I've been to.

I have a couple boards that I've been accumulating over the years.

First purchase: 32.5" Sector 9 Bob Marley Edition board. Great for cruising and carving. Not for bombing, lulz. Found that out the hard way before I knew about bearings.

Second purchase: 2011 Penny Board. Made in AUS, 22", tiny board, great ride. I use it to get around campus. It fits in my backpack.

Third purchase. 2012 Freebord Botanist Bamboo Series. 83cm. These have 6 total wheels, 2 in the center. Imitates completely the movement of a snowboard. Great for carving downhill.

I recently got myself an Apex 37 Carbon - They are sick, the spring trucks take some getting used to compared to regular trucks.
