Only a intellectually weak human being would willingly ingest poison.

Really? That's your answer? I really don't like these fundamentalist statements, they are quite ignorant in my opinion - only for morons who don't get the concept of moderation.
Philius Paracelsus, the "Father of Toxicology" once said: "Poison is in everything, and no thing is without poison. The dosage makes it either a poison or a remedy."

And here are some of your "intellectually weak human beings" (Drinkers & Smokers):

Albert Einstein, Alexander The Great, Thomas Edison, Ludwig Van Beethoven, John F. Kennedy, Oscar Wilde, Robert Oppenheimer, Benjamin Franklin, Alexander Graham Bell, Ernest Hemingway, Winston Churchill and many many more.

Pot calls the kettle black..

You completely ignored context with your post.

This is obviously in regard to the op, which is about binge drinking and has nothing to do with moderation. Binge drinkers are those that willingly engage in drinking to excess just to get really drunk. No truly intelligent being would subject itself to harm unless there was something inherently wrong with it. To suggest otherwise is to argue with nature, true ignorance or absolute arrogance.

For the fools in here talking about how alcohol is poison, and to go along with the "poison is everything" argument...

Even oxygen is poisonous...why do you think we age and die in ~80 years? If alcohol, used moderately, helps a person cope, who are you to call them "weak"? Maybe you haven't suffered enough.
