Lol..... That's like saying Wal Mart skate deck is top notch... bahahaha

If you wanna go for broke get the Burton Vapor setup... it's like weightless, strong and fast as fuck... This is gonna cost you a fair chunk of change however.

going for broke would actually be a method or a lib tech cynus..put on flow 24real's as well and SLX boots. will make you pro for sure

Lol that is tru about firefly n wal mart lol.

A vapor is expencive but absolutely the wrong board for certain types of riding.

Asking whats the best board is like asking whats the best car for a competition.

U going offroading, jumps, circuit, or drag racing?

Well, that's understandable. I myself ride a Burton Blunt with Custom Ltd bindings and Driver X boots. I pretty much ride the terrain park 80% of the time so my setup works great for it. However, one weekend i did ride my friends Vapor setup because he wasn't worried about me running into rocks or trees or some crap. I really love my setup but god damn.... doing butters and spinning tables feels amazing when it feels like there is nothing on your feet. It also is very easy to control on a icy moggle filled double blacks. I highly recommend this setup for anyone with the cash and who likes to ride pow and freestyle.

check out this guide to buying snowboards... http://www.trusnow.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=40125

It's pretty lengthy but it will really help you figure out what kind of board you want. From the little input you gave your probably looking for an all mountain kind of board, a type 2 or 3 according to this guide.

Nitro and Capita both make very nice twin park boards as well as freeride n' all mountain board. Good companies both of em'.

doing butters on a vapor wtf?

vapor is extremely stiff and made for pipe/groomers/off trail shit, definitely not butters or park...

weight has nothing to do with how stiff a board is....

and recommending vapor for someone who "has the cash" is the dumbest thing I've heard (aside from recommending the vapor for powder and freestyle which are complete opposite riding styles), the average rider wont tell any difference from a vapor and a board that costs less then half of what a vapor does

however if you are a pro and plan on shredding some pipe competitions then, and only then, should the vapor even be considered

tho if you were a pro i doubt you'd be looking for board advice on jsp
e/

just read the thread and wow... so much fail in here...

@ op make an account on trusnow.com and get some real advice from people who know wtf they are talking about..

u shuld get a vapor dood i herd tey are #1 at freestyle and pow pow brah cuz they cost alot etc.

In all seriousness tho I ride a burton custom, it's a good park and all mountain board. If you don't want to drop the dough on multiple boards (one for the park, mountain, pow, etc.) i would recommend the custom
