I strongly recommandt a twin tip board with alot of stance ( twin tips : tail as long as the nose)
Stance: space between both fixes, more you have stance more stable you are.
Now for flexibility of your board it goes by model and not by brand

Bindings: for noob choice ill go with burton fixes ( choose a cheap model)
Medium : burton custom
Pro: Drake Mickey Leblanc ( life time warranty)

Go with something that will slowly get you into the "mood"..
theres not really a brand that will make you snowboard.. its how you feel and how you ride
a suggest renting a few to start out with, and taking it from there
Bullshit... wtf u talking about.
Good brands :
Rome
Nitro
K2
Capita
Forum as last choice

For snowboarding, get what ever looks/works good for you, it really doesnt make that big a difference between a 200 board and 1000$ board.
And if you are looking to spend money, invest more in bindings than a board

I lol'd, man you obviously know nothing about snowboard.
And binding comes seconds... wtf dude your saying anything. Binding are doin all the same fonction, holding your feet to the board, this is simple ? Now the difference between a 100 bucks binding set and a 300 bucks pair is the durability ( yes binding breaks alot ) the fonction is the same...
Boards are alot more complexe and different than fixes. ( flexibility, length, materials carbon or glass fiber, wood etc, binding holes and more.)
