I'm looking for a snowboard boot. I'll post info if someone is actually pretty knowledgeable. Will pay some fg if you know about the current products out there (really leaning toward Burton since I just picked up a new Burton binding & their boots seem to match well to their binding designs). Thanks.

I ended up going to sleep before you got back to me :( Ah well

Ended up picking up the Burton Restricted Driver boots: http://ca.burton.com/mens-ruler-snowboard-boot/275299,default,pd.html?start=13&cgid=mens-boots

That's a good boot if you know it fits your foot well. Snowboard boots vary from brand to brand and even model to model, so trying on boots and making sure they fit right are key to buying boots, if your feet hurt on the hill because of improperly fitting boots you won't have a good time.

I figure as much. I heard Salomon makes boots really well & generally fits to feet like mine... but unfortunately the only Salomon boot I wanted wasn't in my size.

This boot I really wanted too though... and I've been wearing it for an hour and a half now around the house... seems fairly comfortable overall. Just trying to break them in a tiny bit around the house... they're pretty nice.

Im no a big Burton fan for the mostpart

but im a big fan of their boots. Stick with burton boots, and just find the ones in ur price range

I like the Rulers, but even cheap ones like the old Tributes are sick. They fit narrower i think, and it makes a world of a difference when it comes to feel when boarding.

I like the boots that click in, locking into the board, bindings suck and eventually get weak if you go hard on the jumps and stuff. I havent bought anything in a few years so I don't know whats new, but I do know bindings suck from my experiences.

Uhhhh

Do you even snowboard?

Bindings are kind-of required.
