I am going paintballing for the time first tomorrow morning. I live in SC and it hits about 80-85 degrees here. What should I wear? It is my first timegoing.

Hot or hurt, pick one.
I normally go with sweat pants under camo pants if im out in the woods. It will be warm but its not that bad. The extra padding is nice for getting hit but also if your running through the woods a bit or kneeling/crawling.
Same sort of thing for upper body, a couple layers of something durable.

On a personal recommendation, try to get a neck protector or something to cover your neck a bit. I got shot bare skin in the neck once (the one time I wasnt wearing my neck protector) and it wasnt a pretty sight.

Have fun though! Paintball can be tons of fun.
And be safe, nothing annoys me more than when kids screw around with the guns while others are nearby without at least a mask on.

jeans and a t shirt.
also- if you have knee pads bring them.

if you're like me and play in az, the hard ground starts to hurt after a while of being on a knee behind a car, ect ect.

85 degree heat wont be an issue once you get the adrenaline running

You're going to get hot and sweaty, no matter what. Even if you were just running around, not getting shot at, you're going to get hot and sweaty.

So, might as well cover up and be as protected as you can.

And /co-sign on athletic cup. Nutshot = no bueno! :P

Just bring some extra water to drink in-between games; you'll be fine. :)

No matter how many layers of clothing you wear, it'll still hurt when you get short.

... dumbest recommendation ever - you are basically saying: no matter what you wear, you will get hurt, so might as well go naked and take it like a man.

NO. level of hurt is significantly less when you compare a bare skin hit to a hit through clothing. so put clothes on to protect yourself. avoid showing skin.
