snowboarding 100 times better and funner than skiing..been skiing majoraty of life as a kid but picked up snowboarding last year


soooo much fun carving down the slopes where as skiing i would pretty rocket straight down ( :P lol was still fun tho)


plus tricks are so much cooler on snowboards

I don't have time to explain how to toe side carve atm but watch a few videos and practice you will get it.

Exactly. When you're a kid and go down the easy slopes you can do this. But once you try the harder ones, this is impossible because you would simply die. I'm not sure if you use the same system as they do in Austria/Switzerland/Germany with Blue - Red - black colours but for any hard red/black slope you need some good technique to go down it at a good speed.

Last year I re-invented skiing really,

I was getting a little bored with it because I have done it for the past 10 years or so, but now I found out there is still so much to learn that I enjoy it more again :) .

I ride 21* and 21*... and a burton blunt.. my boots dont dig in on toeside carves ever... (size 10 Driver X boots) maybe you just need to get a wider board or switch ur stance to a more freestyle oriented one.

Try to bend your knees more. Most beginners forget to do that.

keep knees bent, good center of gravity and when u carve toe edge u got to kick your back foot towards the bottom of the slope scary at first but you will get it, its all about "feeling" but once you get it you will get it will be second nature ;)
