Its been a discussion between the Unofficial Mediators for quite some time, however due to recent events, it seems that this rule must be put in place.

The Trusted / Mediators, including myself, have decided to put a new rule in place;

Actives Are NOT Allowed Mediating Bets as a Third Party

What does this mean?

• Active players should never be used as 3rd Party Mediators, they are on the list simply because they've been around for at least 3 months. Just because they're on active, doesn't mean they're trustworthy!
• If you are looking for a Mediator, look at the list! Mediators AIM names are posted beside their JSP name! AIM them and ask them to Med.

HOWEVER

• If your playing with an Active (lets say for example a 200 FG 4 Man DoN) and feel comfortable, use him as the Med. If you don't feel he / she is trustworthy enough, ask a Mediator to Mediate the game.

How will this be enforced?

• Trusted / Mediators will be monitoring the forums and looking at posts to see who is Mediating these games. I do NOT wan't to see any actives mediating bets like This.

If I find out an Active is mediating bets like these they will receive a warning. If they ignore this warning we will proceed to a vote between the Trusteds / Mediators to see if the Active in question really deserves to be on Active.

A completely new post regarding rules and everything else will be posted by the end of the weekend, for now, use this as reference.

As I said, the Meds and I have discussed this for quite some time, in light or recent events (Andr3w and what not) I decided to put this rule in as a temp one until we can work something out.

Just like ANYTHING to do with this forum, it is open to discussion. I'm willing to discuss this more with the mediators and I can surely mention your suggestion.
