Ever put together a computer that didn't work? Everything seemed like It should work and it just didn't and then you had to just start digging to find the problem? Pretty much sums up what they're experiencing. If huge aaa companies cant prevent it from happening it's not really fair to expect a team of 90 to roll out perfection.
At least there's a 100% functional offline mode. That is unheard of these days
I guess we’re having an opinionated discussion at this point. As I mentioned I’m not mad at the devs or the game studio.
I don’t support people hating on LE or writing negative reviews about it on steam.
However they are well aware that any more downtime like this will have implications on the game’s perception and also the revenue.
It’s the same with any company who conducts this sort of launch, nobody is immune to this.
I don’t know if an open beta weekend would have helped to give servers a little more realistic stress test. Given the huge increase of players it seems like they could not prepare for every possible case.

swap regions to something else(i'm in us east. i'm playing on us west). It's been stable for me playing on west vs east.
even if the ping is a bit higher it's still more stable
Thanks Ima call it for now, probably gonna play some D2R later tonight.
LE is gonna stay so I might give it a shot at a later point in time.
