I was kinda worried that they were going to scuff trade so hard that it made normal players unable to meaningfully trade, and it looks like that's exactly what they did -- am I missing something about trade or is it a raucous grind to get away from what still feels like SSF gameplay? Does it seem like a reasonable trade implementation in any way to ya'll?

probably the best trade implementation in arpg, favor cost is irrelevant for active player

i did ~200 transactions, mainly lp uniques/exalted bases. got 6 close to bis items so far

Terrible system and it will die soon 1-2 weeks after season people won't trade at all
You can't trade bought items
Amount of restrictions on this trade is greater than in communists states lol
Why do you need gold in this game anyway?
The whole trade and eco is just poorly designed atm

My impression has been overall negative, but other opinions are welcome -- The issues I had with pre-1.0 seem to still be there, and not really what they focused on.

It's kind of interesting that they put trading in to calm down the masses whining about it, but then made it incredibly difficult to actually trade to prevent flipping or auction house warriors or whatever silly monikers the devs are going with now. I wonder what kind of player this trading system is actually intended to be useful for??

oh you're way better/faster at leveling than I am in this game, I couldn't handle the mono grind again and just came to see how ya'll are cruisin

I'm already 100, bought 2 idols I'm using for resist because they were filtered, nothing other than that was an upgrade since I was ahead all the time but that's not the problem.
Not saying you can't upgrade your char with trade, you can but the system is really bad for many reasons.
After 100 upgrading char is difficult and if you crafted it's doubtful you will find any upgrades on bazaar (T7 + fitting craft with chaos).
At this point game becomes basically RNG machine, Get double t6 on item fitting your build or T7 pray chaos craft will work (9/10 it won't)
Now remember You can't resell the items bought at bazaar and the game is so easy you only ruin your endgame with this anyway, investing or being stuck with bad rerolls which you can't resell.
In other words it will either ruin your endgame or you won't use it at all, or it will frustrate people to death.
Then again there is no consumption and no real gold sink in the game and player base will shrink, guess how that will work because not good
T7 upgrading is just really much much harder than t6 and this where people will realize how badly this is designed in conjunction with the whole itemization

And now think about this there are thousands of affixes and at some point you will need 4 good affixes with specific base and specific stats.
Every time you will find the upgrade or want to swap say resists, slap reminder you can't resell bought items.
System designed to encourage people to quit faster.
This is Bad design 101

i need like 100k rep to get to lvl 7, any tips on fastest way to earn it? im using favor and listing rando uniques for 0 gold already, really need lvl 7 to upgrade my gear with exalted items

kill a lot of monsters and progress echos with corruption, that's the quickest way

i'm getting 2lp uniques and t23-26 sealed items with the best mods for my build. it used to be way harder, and right now I can spin a wheel more often
