Is it just me or are there quite a few people out there that watch Studio Ghibli movies? I had never even heard of them until I met my wife 11 years ago and she introduced them to me, we ended up buying all of them and even went to a special viewing at the theater for a few. ( I introduced her to Inuyahsa, Cowboy Bebop, Trigun and Yuyu Hakuso so it was a good trade off i think lol)

It’s one of the better ones for sure, castle in the sky and nausica are great as well.

They're all really well done. Miyazaki also directed Lupin III and the Castle of Cagliostro, which I also enjoy a lot

Well duh... they're some of the most popular animated films of all-time, and they appeal to wide-spread audiences, not just your typical anime fans.

I think the first time I've watched a Studio Ghibli movie it was on TV and it was either Howl's Moving Castle or Arrietty. At the time I probably didn't know what it was, but it was interesting. Over the years people suggested I watch different movies from Studio Ghibli and I realized I've watched some of these before and they were all amazing. Now that I have a family sometimes we watch stuff like Panda Go Panda, which is the same team as Ghibli before they officially formed I think. It's great to watch if you have kids.
