Just finished FMA brotherhood; fucking loved it. I like the fast pace and clean story line ending in the shows i watch


also watched up to the most recent episodes of Berserk. It's OK, story is interesting but the fucking art is god awful.


I'm trying to find a shorter series that has some good action/adventure to it. I like a good story line but tbh I'll sacrifice it for high quality art & action


recommendations? I want to find something that has an ending

Tokyo Ghoul i thoroughly enjoyed all of it, some people lost interest in Re;
parasyte is a short series and quite enjoyable.

For shorter series check these ones out

Fate/Zero (2 seasons, 25 episodes total) - Beautifully drawn and great characters. There are A LOT of other fate shows, but this is the one to watch. - Has a definitive ending
Death Note (37 episodes) - My personal favorite. - Has a definitive ending
Code Geass (2 seasons, each 25 episodes, 50 total) - This a strategy/action show with mechs, I'm not usually into mech, but this one is awesome. - Has an ending (although it's apparently coming back, it could have ended where it did)
Unlimited Blade Works (2 seasons, 25 episodes total) - The only other Fate show worth watching imo, haven't watched the latest one though. - Has a definitive ending
Hellsing Ultimate (10 episodes, 45 min-1hr long each) - Brutal and beautiful from start to finish. - Has a definitive ending
Samurai Champloo (26 episodes) - Show follows two samurai as they help a young woman attempt to locate her father, "A samurai who smells of sunflowers". Cool art style, epic fights and great characters. - Has a definitive ending
One Punch Man (12 currently, still ongoing) - This is a comedy show that kinda makes fun of the ridiculousness of all other shonen type animes. I would recommend watching after you've seen a few of the other big ones. it's glorious - Ongoing
Berserk (25 episodes) - Watch the original, stop watching that new trash art bullshit. They fucked up, they need to admit they failed and start again with some decent fucking animation/style this time. - Ending leaves you begging for more that'll never come, until it does, in the style of the worst fucking art imaginable that'll make you want to slit. Still, it's worth watching.


Longer, but you should watch anyway

Hunter x Hunter 2011 - Hands down one of the best anime ever made. - Ongoing, but where it's at right now is a good break point. Each arc (except for the very small transitional/ending arc) is exceedingly better than the last and this show is just too damn good to not watch.
JoJo's Bizarre Adventure - A strange show. I got into this one not that long ago myself and it's gotten better with each passing season. It takes a bit to get hooked, but it's pretty fucking funny and it looks so damn cool. - Ongoing

Lmk if you end up enjoying any of these and which ones, I've got some more I could recommend but I'm tired and going to bed now.
