debating starting this or fate: night

I thoroughly enjoyed it, but the manga artist got caught tracing or some bullshit so we don't get to really see where it goes after the first season.

fate:zero bruh. stay night comes later

i loved NGNL tho, animation is gorgeous and it's pretty thought-provoking

yeah fate:zero first then, getting me all hype for it

NGNL was fun but it was sorta promise that then didn't go anywhere
if you have to choose, go watch Fate, because unlike NGNL, it has an ending (and is way more entertaining imo)

NGNL is a really fun anime
Lots of weird talk about panties and stuff though

I'd give ngnl 6.5/10 personally. The main characters have the thickest plot armor I've ever seen. They pretty early on tell you the main characters never lose and are the best at absolutely everything. It completely ruins any tension or drama the show might otherwise have. Its basically just a fairly fun waste of time that amounts to nothing.

a 'decent' show overall
they left a cliffhanger leading towards second season which is never actually coming

but as Blah58 stated, there's not much suspense as you know they're going to win

just some entertainment while not completely being shitty

The only thing I liked about NGNL is the coloration they used. They honestly went all out. Other than that, everything else sucked.
