anyone try it yet?

ive been trying to get pass the 1st episode but the CGI looks so shitty, it looks like a ps3 game lol.....
im trying to stick around for the storyline, but the CGI makes it so fkin hard >_<

I watched Knights of Sidonia with the same type of CGI, so I'm kinda used to it and it's pretty solid, story-wise one of the best this season

Yeah I just can't watch CGI, same deal with Bubuki Buranki. From what has been said about it it doesn't seem too bad, but I'd just rather read the manga lol

Bubuki Buranki visual wise looks better than Ajin.
but it's still hard to watch.

I dropped Bubuki because they kind of used loss of human life as a mechanism to provoke an emotional reaction then just walked over it.

The beginning of the first episode was cool, unfortunately it lost my attention when they cut back to Japan.

It has my favorite opening of the season also this scene https://streamable.com/ack2 so gooood. Personally the CGI doesn't bother me at all since I like it sooo ymmv. So far it is tied with my favorite of the season with Erased.
