Has anyone been reading the manga? Although the general consensus is that the anime took a huge dive (and Manglobe is now officially done) I was planning on watching this once I've caught up with the manga.

The localized Viz books I've been ordering stop at volume 6 for now so I wanted to see just how far along the anime goes before I started watching. Appreciate anyone's helpful response.

i haven't read the manga, but to put in my 2 cents i actually really enjoyed the anime. i didn't hear that the anime tanked, but i was aware that Manglobe was toast

Manglobe was apart of 3 good shows, Samurai Champloo, Ergo Proxy, and ...i forgot the other. Rest is utter shit, good riddance.
