On episode 4, for those that have watched - stop or don't.

I'm hoping it'll get better since it's so hyped, but am I wasting my time?

i thought the early episodes were great, but yeah, keep going.
it starts out in a cave type setting, but by the end of the show its... well... very different.

Episode one was amazing, then this mecha shit came into play and lost interest. The fights just look like shit, it's hard to not notice. LOL

I'ma give it a few more episodes because I enjoy the humor of the show more than any other anime I've seen in awhile.

i dont like mecha either, but this is honestly more of a shounen than a mecha.
his emotions/willpower controls how powerful his drill will be.

Loved this anime. I say keep going.

The fighting is supposed to be over-the-top, and I found it annoying at first too. But if you take it into context of what the show is all about, in the end it will grow on you.

The show is actually deep and gives heartwarming wisdom about what human consciousness can accomplish. Watching it is good for your manhood.
