i'm mostly looking for an anime..

thats like real life scenarios, with a bunch of tragedies and what not.

Say a group of friends, they play sports, go to school or whatever then say one of them dies and its a tragedy

Monster. It doesn't have a school setting, but it's well worth the watch.
You might also want to look into Zankyou no Terror. One of the best anime I've seen recently.
