Tbh I hope they get over this crap very soon - it's getting annoying.

I don't think any of the monthlies have discussion threads because there's so much time in between releases. I have to reread the previous two chapters every time a monthly comes out in order to remember anything thats going on.

Memory for me is easily retrievable.
Basically the reiss family were the real rulers, the father wanted the titan power back from eren and tried to make his daughter from another mother take a titan making serum and eat eren for the power to control titans back.
Eating titans = gaining their power + your sanity while being in titan.
The daughter said no because if she does eat eren she is brainwashed by the 1st ruler who started this whole mess (apparently its genetics and having the power controlling power transfers the 1st ruler's memory to the younger generations)
This caused the father to go awal and made himself a titan with a super secret formula titan one instead.
This one is as big as the colossal titan and its going to a nearby town but this titan is VERY hot (heat, not attractiveness) so the legionaire squad or w/e couldnt nip the neck and they have a plan to blow the shit up using bombs with eren's titan

From 5chapters ago to now?

I remember now why I had such a problem remembering the past 1-2 chapters. When released, the only site that released it had like 4 different translations (all terribly translated) mashed up together every 4 pages or so. So pg 1-4 were Translation 1, 5-8 T2, then at 13, they did 4 other pages of the manga for T1, and so forth. I got so frustrated because they werent even in the right goddamn order, so I had no clue wtf was going on
