I like the ending for fma
But like the storyline of fmab

I enjoyed the homonculi plot in the first one more; the idea of them being created by alchemists who broke the "taboo" of human reconstruction. Also enjoyed Lust's backstory more and the shit with their mom. Aside from that, Brotherhood definitely flowed a lot more smoothly, although I'd prefer a more dark/mysterious ending (the first series) over the happy-go-lucky ending that Brotherhood brought to the table.
