i am currently at episode 18/26, and been wondering whether it has canceled? there was only one king fight yet, and it is alrdy near the end. will there be a second season?

and im wondering that the anime is even further than the manga? how is that possible lol-.- i dont understand anythnng

It's an adaptation of the light novel series (an actual book book). Accel World anime currently only has 1 season, which is usually just the first 1-2 volumes of the light novel. Will have to wait before another season comes out, assuming it gets continued. Manga adaptation is slow because it is similar to the anime because they are both adaptations of the light novel

ahh okay-.- damn i hate watching animes which arent finished. shitty feeling.

is it possible to get the light novels somehow? i hope it gets a second season like SAO but seems like it will take a while

It has been licensed and the fan translations have been removed from Xxxx-Xxxxx. I think you can still find/torrent pdf files of it if you search hard enough.

Vol 1 english just officially released as well, but that is already covered in the anime
