Oi,

Ive tried viewing the first berserk movie but the drawing looks very weird and the CGI is putting me off... Has anyone here seen the berserk movies? Are they as good as the anime?

It's decent enough to merit a watch, imo.

There was quite of bit of important shit from the anime that was completely ignored in the first two films. I'll be checking out the third one specifically to see the Eclipse, it looks like they did a superb job with it.

I get the feeling they glossed over the anime part because they're trying to get over it and start the Manga exclusive stuff asap.

As far as cgi, I like that better than shitty ass old animations

Its not cgi per se that bothers me its mixing it with traditional drawing. I dunno it just feels cheap and out of place very often. Id rather a full-cgi movie or a regular drawing.
Still havent checked out the berserk movies, but griffith looks even more like a woman now lol

Hated it too man. I had to turn it off the first time I tried. They actually get better though and you get a little more of the story at the end, they're worth watching if you loved the original series.

It's bad and it takes awhile to get use to. I felt like the second movie was significantly better than the first for the animation they used. It felt so gimmicky on the first one though, I fucking loathed it.
