if you are okay with any genre and prefer story quality over most other things lmk and i might be able to point a few out.

Too broad to really give something similar, but I recently watched Shinsekai Yori and I enjoyed it a lot. It is almost as thrilling as Steins Gate.

Another classic is Madoka Magica, you should really check that one out if you have not
