Mmmmh... FMA:B is the one of the very few animes that has a decent dub in my opinion; though, no matter how good the dubbed version is the subbed version will always be superior.
I had done the original FMA in English and had no qualms. It was just the epiphany I had watching Attack on Titan that made me want to jump into Japanese dialogue headfirst. There's some shit out there that I had originally watched in English that if I were to ever watch again, it'd probably have to remain in English (Samurai Champloo, Cowboy Bebop).

it's one of my favourites, assuming it's your genre (shounen; mecha; kid takes over the world). it's not really "short" though, i think it's 25 eps x 2 seasons. shorter than bleach ofc, but imo short = 1 season of 13ish eps, eg angel beats or mirrai nikki.
the english voice of Ichigo Kurosaki does lelouch in code geass, the guy who voices Yasutora Sado has a role, and crispin freeman (one of my favourites, eg arucard) has a role.
dub/sub comparison so you can pick for yourself (spoilers):

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pvYFGNEq7rkThanks for taking the time to link me those; really cool scene. Gonna go ahead and stick to the subbed version. 50 episodes isn't bad, I might do a season, watch ~100 more Bleach, then continue on with the second.
