I just recently watched a short anime series that left a bit of an empty hole in me when it ended. I've been kind of "meh" when a certain anime ends before but never has it been drilled into my brain and caused me to actually feel somewhat depressed. The theme song kind of describes the entire feel of the anime to me as well and it's been stuck in my head for 2 days straight. Has this kind of crap happened to anyone else? It feels kind of silly being borderline depressed because of an anime ending.

I know it's extreme! But I just can't seem to shake the feeling or get it out of my head. I've always liked anime but as you said I do just move on to the next one. @.@

Don't worry, it's completely normal and should be like that if the anime had any sort of good character development imo. I felt like that after angel beats, FMAB, bepop, gungrave, etc.

Thanks for the replies guys. It's actually pretty comforting knowing I'm not alone in this. Rewatching the anime has helped a little bit. A bit more relaxing knowing what's going to happen and reconnecting with the characters.
