Heck, my friend went to Japan a bit and he was hanging out with people and they were at McDicks' and he was eating his hamburger, and they kept telling him like, you have keep the wrapping below so that it does not stain your hands and the table by stuff falling down ( to be fair a lot of people do that already, but it's not "obligatory" . )

Well at some point he got fed up and told em' ( loosely quoting him ) "Look you cunts, I don't teach you how to eat your rice, don't teach an american how to eat a burger" .

It's also rude to check other people while they're eating.
