The film is set between the 517th and 518th installments of Akira Toriyama's original manga. Specifically, it is set during the "lost decade" of story time after the end of the battle with Majin Buu. Kuririn, Piccolo, Vegeta, and other familar characters will appear in the film. The film is not a spinoff, but a story in the official history of Dragon Ball.

really wish anime/manga would change direction and have other characters defeat the boss or be developed as much as a "main character" which basically means there isnt one but w/e

as soon as vegeta learns the ko-ken he'll pwn goku well

i wonder how gogeta would fair against him

very bad story + very bad graphics (im not used to this kind of "perfect" graphic)

The story is really pathetic, that until now unknown god is strong like ss4 goku

I would say Gogeta/vegeto = ss4 = this mewtwo god

and i wonder, what was goku doing in kais planet when he was supposed to be living again

The story was pretty bad. I was pretty disappointed.

This. Like no epic nostalgia fights and the story was just plain awful

maybe not quite a good story, but still better than most DBZ movies
