Haven't watched it in years.Want to watch it again. The first episode everywhere I look is showing them fighting the ice alchemist...


This is not that start of the show though? What happened to all the stuff where they show how the brothers got the way they are? Is that section of the show called something else or all of my sources just fucked up :S ?

I'm pretty sure the original FMA starts the way you thought it should start, but yeah Brotherhood begins with the ice alchemist.

I recently finished rewatching it. It does start off with the Ice Alchemist.

This is correct.

Neither of them "start" with pure origin. Both of them start with a little bit of action, it's called a hook lol.

Ahh that is too bad they took out the exam part in brotherhood . That was a good part.
