I just got through watching the first and only season of BPS, or Battle Programmer Shirase, and thought that it was awesome. I was simply amazed by it. I've been watching it intently and simply must buy it. I will get my hands on a copy. Anyway, even back when it was publicly released back in 2003, with what occurred throughout the story I realized that they irrevocably knew exactly what they were talking about, made it completely realistic and thoroughly did their research. They created a awesome, realistic anime (possibly aside from the machine which forced those to have intimate feelings with one another, that one I'm speculative about but do think that it might be possible nonetheless) and made a fun, creative and suspenseful plot among each episode, by each episode. Or so that's what I think. I do acknowledge, after checking out a few discussions just now, that a lot of people didn't really understand it, but I assure you that if you've ever dived, not just played in or splashed, but dived into computers as I have, it's pretty legit stuff, though would be awesome to have a story-line of this anime that is based in this day & age. That would be a giant scoopful of delight that would be continuous and ongoing, at least in my eyes.
But most importantly, what do you others think of it? Please share your views and comments. This is the first anime that got my kicking and shouting and actually got me to register for this site so I can't wait to hear all of your interesting comments and responses about this.
