Well, episode 3 was amazing.

R.I.P Daddy

To be honest the whole death was directed so skillfully, this episode could of easily been the last episode of this season.

Loli abuse and cute adventuring with dad is over.

LOL yea right

EP 3 was really fucked up:
- Dad is immortal
- Dad dies a few times by thugs
- Dad gets saved
- Dad gets buried by her daughter

I thought hes immortal? why the hell did he get buried then?.. this anime has lost its purpose.
I might drop this, since i was watching it because of the white-haired guy.. the loli girl is wayne

he was immortal till the point his wish was granted (learning that Ai really was his daughter etc..)
he was buried because he became an undead and that is the job of a grave keeper it was also part of his wish (to die happy and be buried and mourned by his loved ones)
not even close to clannad level of sad

this anime hit a climax way to soon and it will most likely trail downwards till the end, though who knows it might surprise...
i'll watch it though because gravekeeper loli is cute and i'm interested to see what the actual story is about.

true lol.. that episode 3 should've been the last episode aka. 12 of this anime

they could've easily make AI search for him a few episodes meeting new people and so on, and on the last ep that she finds him etc just like EP 3

that would have just been filler and filler in most cases is bad.
Her father wasn't even a big part of the story imo (that's why he was introduced so early and was put to death so soon). It's more about the grave keepers and AI than it was about anything else.

adding that emotion at the start was fuel for AI and the coming journey as a grave keeper she must make, because she has nowhere else and no one else to go to.
She might follow Scar and learn about the grave keepers and that other guy feeling some sort of obligation to his friend will follow and watch over AI, he might also do that because she will seem like a replacement for his actual daughter.
either way i'm still interested in what happens next.

Nah bro, she has to save the world. And you know how it is in anime, only kids and teenagers are intelligent enough to save the world.

He had to die for her to shed this innocence and embark succesfully on the path of loli world domination.

last episode just wow

at least she was able to save alice.. unlike her dad
