I torrented toradora, shakugan no shana, hayate no gotoku, shingeki no kyojin, and more
All seem to have this common thing where the video itself is not actually subbed (if I stream the file with windows movie maker or something there are no subs at all) but I was using the gomTV player which I guess has a translator built into it and would put English subs but they would be inaccurate sometimes and sometimes it would be like "{sub not found} or some shit
I was wondering what player you use and maybe where you download the animes itself from

media player classic

comes with k-lite codec pack, prolly the best player there is

assuming the videoes you dl'd are mkv then ya windows media players won't show shit for subs (unless it was hardsubbed)
