First episode came out last night, and well I was kind of upset they started that late into the manga but not surprised. The anime seems to start at around chapter 80 in the manga and if you intend to watch this anime I highly suggest reading up to where it starts. It would make sense out of Haurto's emotions and just how much of a bond he had made with Yuzuki. When they bring back his friends (Takashi and Akari) later on they will also seem to have a better connection as they are introduced right away in the manga.

I really enjoyed the manga (which unfortunately has become a bunch of fillers now) and hope this anime adaption just some good justice for it as I love seeing my manga characters actually come to live. I can see why they started from this point as it makes sense for only 12 episodes, but I just wished they gave it 26 like Kouji Seo's other work Suzuka (Haurto is actually suppose to be living next door to them right now in the anime so I wonder if they will bring them in for some comedy purposes like they did in the manga).

Well I just geeked that out, don't troll me too hard if you completely hate this series. But I do want to hear from other Kimi No Iru Machi fans!

Yeah, I had the same exact feelings about Rin which is just very disappointing. You going to finish it still?

im going to watch it, because I have not read the manga I should not be too disappointed XD
