A little hazy on the details.. it's for a friend..

It's an anime movie about aliens in space... there is a dance club full of the aliens... the main character and his sidekick get trapped in this bubble thing.. and the girl interest of the main character is watching from below with the villain of the story

some other details i think i remember correctly:

i remember the only scene from it. was like a dance club or whatever i believe with non human people dancing i could be wrong but it was scantily glad girls dancing. then i remember like, the main character i'm pretty sure he was human. he had a sidekick who was kind of fat and i think wearing a long coat. and the villian traps them in this like, clear orb outside that's really big that makes them either immobilized or act really weird. (the details are so fuzzy.) and the girl interest of the main character watches from below or something.


i could have just dreamed this up and had it haunt me for ever. but i saw this movie 10+ years ago, that's all i remember. it's been so long. the details are so fuzzy.
