i remember it from when i was a kid, feels like a decade ago or some shit
but if i remember correctly it's about these kids who go sit at their computer, put their headset on and log into this game, where they're stuck in it and if they die in the game the die irl as well-
one specific part i remember (i think?) is they each had some kind of huge clunky bracelet, almost like a gear on their wrist
think it was on adult swim forever ago
