What do you guys think about cosplaying?
Anyone here tried cosplaying or making their own cosplay?
I think its pretty cool

A lot of cosplayers make me cringe because they choose characters that do not suit how they look at all. For Example, a fat person trying to cosplay as a character who's body is wellbuilt,strong, etc.. (Some fat person cosplayed as Gray Fullbuster with his shirt off and Fairy Tail symbol on his chest. God awful.)

I generally respect those who cosplay, because they are that into their hobbies/interests. Some just need to choose carefully what they cosplay ;O (Full Body Suit Brony cosplayers................................)

I went to Fanime at SJ for the whole weekend. Although some cosplays were bad, some were really good and it made me wish that I cosplayed also.

I'd do cosplay but broke and too busy. And agreed with Tsuki. It's pretty hideous when people don't have the bodies or don't even try to look good.

I want to do Heiwajima Shizuo though even though its pretty plain. I just like the overall look. (I like dressing semi/formal)

Cosplayed plenty of times.

It's more bothersome than anything when you're at a convention.

All you get is mindless fans that ask for your photo nonstop. At first the attention felt nice, but getting pestered every 15 minutes gets annoying as hell.

Isn't that the point of cosplaying though? Just for the attention? That's what I thought

yeah.. you're doing it wrong if you think you go to a convention while cosplaying and not be pestered (especially if its a decent-good cosplay). Bad or not people still take pictures. If you just wanted to walk around in cosplay, you can do that outside of a con xD
