I just started watching the first part of Naruto and I must say I am hooked. I don't know why I refused to watch it for so long.

The character development is spot on. As annoying as Naruto Uzumaki is, you really want to cheer him on.

I am currently on episode 130. The way the story is going is good, I just don't understand how Sasuke is so much stronger.

Overall I am rating it a 7/10 from this Anime n00b.

Can't wait to finish this story and begin Shippuden and see how the characters have evolved and if Naruto ever becomes really strong.

Wow so it looks like I am at about the peak of the filler stuff? So it's not worth watching? No new abilities or anything?

Well the last arc at the end of naruto was not part of the manga and was a year of fillers to let the manga continue before starting shippuden.
I would say they are not worth watching but your choice.

Shippuden good? I know it is still going along smoothly. Does Naruto every start to unleash his full powers?
