Check out HighSchool of the Dead, and Gantz, both are pretty short and actioney iirc!

Baccano is great

wouldnt personally recommend highschool of the dead if you arent into fan service

If you dont care about it being dubbed I would recommend Guilty Crown, Sword art online and Fate/zero
If you prefer that it is dubbed I would recommend Fullmetal alchemist: brotherhood, Death note and Angel Beats

most of what i listed are must-sees in my opinion

Do not recommend high school of the dead
