Major - Baseball anime 6 seasons long with 1 movie and 3 ova episodes. Started airing around 2005 and finished last year.

Both are really great even if you don't like sports or don't think you will enjoy it when you start them you won't be able to stop watching.

knb is good ofc, but you will prob turn to the manga for more after it ends.
if you haven't started yet i'd wait til s2 is out and watch with everyone or something.
