when saber's master sacrificed everything to obtain it he noticed
that the grail is evil and decided to destroy it.

it never said it was fake, but it cannot grant the wishes of something that the master cannot concieve.
so if you cannot think of a way to make world peace you cannot make world peace.

it ends with the grail being destroyed, the town it was in being destroyed and all dieing except one child who the man takes in and nurtures.
