I've been following this manga for awhile now, and it's been getting really good/popular wondering if anyone here reads it? If so here is an offical topic, since no one has made one yet.

And then you read the rest of the chapter and find out nothing happens besides her licking his neck since she is a Neko she would act like a cat. ;)

Isn't there an anime that aired a few years ago? Does the manga storyline continue where the anime left off?

Yes, the anime follows the manga, it only has 12 episodes though so it's not that fat into the manga.
