A while back there was this anime where some dude with an ancient martial art and his sick sister lived on an island and some girl showed up that wanted him to help her collect 7 swords or whatever.

The series was like 99.9% talking and one of the most boring shows I've ever attempted to watch, but was there a manga? The story itself seemed alright I just couldn't watch the anime without falling asleep and I can read 10x faster than what they can talk.

Also if you had watched the series and it gets better / way less talkative I may try picking it up again, just need the name of it thanks.

If you disliked the first few episodes then you probably won't change your mind.
Personally digged it a lot, but yeah, the dialogue felt excessive and even downright pointless at times.

Ah thanks... maybe I'll just watch an episode a month or something when I'm bored since that was the pace of release. Just wanted to write the name down to add to my list of "to watch/read when bored"
