This is the story of the Joestar family, and their battles against bizarre enemies. Jonathan Joestar's battle against the vampire Dio Brando starts it all, and it continues into roughly each second generation of Joestars through all parts of the story.

Caught up to episode 4 , and so far this has to be easily best of 2012 .

Gives me hope in Vampire anime again

It's a great series and one of the best EDs this season

The voice acting that makes this anime so fun. The story is amazing and goes through multiple generations of Joestars battling it out against Dio. It's so sad to watch the main characters die :( I would recommend this to anyone.
With all the shit anime coming out this is definitely a ray of light.

I don't see much better out this season in terms of overall greatness being

Art
Story
Music
Fandom - and when I say this I mean the overall group of people who are interested in the anime, don't behave like Narutards or Bleach fans .
Voice Acting
Action .

This anime delivers in every area, which is why I'd say it's the best of 2012 , it reminds me of the trashy Japanese movies I've come to love .

But I might be overlooking something . But this is definitively contender for top spot .

It's one of those anime that has the same characters in different settings .

For example, CLAMPs constant use of Sakura

But yeah, it is pretty different, but in a good way .

They are split up into different parts for different generations of Jojos
Jonathan Joestar = Phantom Blood
Joseph Joestar = Battle Tendency

Both have older versions
