Preferably comedy of any subgenre. Currently watching Nodame Cantabile and find it to my liking tho obscure series like these hard to find in sea of shit out there, so something under the radar like this as i probably watched most mainstream ones.

Ooh, I liked Nodame Cantabile. I think I saw it on Crackle or Manga Entertainment app and starting watching it and enjoyed the music.

Maybe try watching: Bakuman,Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, Ouran Koukou Host Club, Angel Beats, Welcome to the NHK!
They all have lots of funny parts in it to a degree..

Also Nodame Cantabile has another season so you might want to continue with it.

Are u trolling me with Gintama and GTO? They are like the worst parodies out there, could not bare to watch more than 3 episodes..

there's your problem, you need to watch more.
Gintama isn't all comedy and parody it has its serious parts, that's probably why it's popular and is still ongoing.
