I believe it's an OVA I remember there's about 2 episodes.

The protagonist is a male. Girl says she is his knight from long time ago.
Some events involve killings around the town and such.

Awesome memory rofl.. all I can say
I pretty much summed up the anime search with the ovas and events... So if they have seen it like they had it would come pretty quickly ^.^
