Close call, but I'm more familiar with sharingan, so, sharingan. You get the ability to predict and completely copy movements, see chakra, and the whole mangekyou shebang.
Even without mangekyou or jutsu to copy from other people, being able to predict/copy movements and essentially be clairvoyant has a huge benefit for your ability to charm and influence people.

And besides, sharingan eyes look cool as fuck.

Anyone who chose Sharingan obviously hasnt watched One Piece ;O

I thought exactly the same.
But with nice Haoushoku you can easily beat a Sharingan-user before he can use his nice jutsus.
And with Haki you can also see what happens next because of reading in other peoples mind.
